DevOps Engineer (m/w/d) – Cloud & Platform Engineering

📍 Osnabrück, Germany | Hybrid (2 days on-site)

💼 Permanent | Full-time

💰 €50,000–€62,000 gross p.a. + on-call allowance

🇩🇪 German: B2 minimum

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join a growing Cloud / Platform Engineering team supporting modern, multi-cloud environments.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys automation, cloud infrastructure, container platforms and improving the reliability and efficiency of development and production environments.

Tasks

What You'll Do:

• Automate provisioning of Azure, AWS and public cloud environments using Terraform (IaC)

• Operate and enhance Kubernetes-based container platforms, particularly OKD/OpenShift and Docker

• Manage and optimise multi-cloud environments for availability, performance, scalability and security

• Plan and execute deployments, updates and releases with minimal downtime

• Analyse and resolve performance and infrastructure issues across cloud platforms

• Develop standards for automation, monitoring and secure operations

• Document cloud landscapes, deployments and operational processes

• Participate in an on-call rotation after an appropriate onboarding period

Requirements

What You Bring:

• At least 3 years of professional DevOps / Cloud experience

• Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS or another public cloud platform

• Strong experience with Kubernetes and OKD/OpenShift

• Experience with Docker/containerised environments

• Solid Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience

• Good knowledge of Git, CI/CD and modern deployment/release processes

• German at B2 level or above

• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
