    Lead Technical Product Marketing Manager

    About Parasail

Parasail is building the inference cloud for AI-native companies. We help teams deploy and scale AI models with the performance, reliability, and flexibility their applications need, without managing the underlying GPU infrastructure.

We’re building a marketing team that can translate deep technical capabilities into a clear story, strong customer relationships, and repeatable growth.

    The Role

We’re looking for a Technical Product Marketing Manager who can understand how customers build with AI, explain where Parasail fits, and bring that story to market.

You’ll work closely with our marketing lead, sales, product, and engineering teams to sharpen our positioning, build customer advocacy, develop ecosystem partnerships, and grow our presence at technical events. You should be equally comfortable discussing inference tradeoffs with an engineer, helping a customer develop a compelling conference presentation, and turning customer insights into messaging that helps sales win.

Your initial focus will be expanding our technical event program and building the customer stories, partner relationships, and product marketing foundation that make those efforts effective. This is a hands-on role with room to shape both the strategy and how we execute as the company grows.

    What You’ll Do

Build a technical event program that drives customer relationships and pipeline.

    • Develop an event strategy spanning conferences, meetups, hackathons, technical panels, and customer dinners, initially focused on the Bay Area and expanding our New York presence.
    • Represent Parasail in conversations with developers, AI founders, and technical buyers. Explain our platform, understand their workloads, and identify opportunities for deeper engagement.
    • Recruit customer and partner speakers, develop session narratives, and help presenters deliver compelling talks and demonstrations.
    • Equip colleagues with the messaging, demos, and customer examples they need to represent Parasail effectively.
    • Partner with sales on audience targeting and follow-up, and turn event conversations and presentations into content that extends their reach.
    • Coordinate with event operations support as available, while owning the technical program, audience experience, and business outcomes.

Turn customer success into a repeatable marketing program.

    • Build relationships with customers who can become speakers, references, design partners, and advocates.
    • Create case studies, technical customer stories, interviews, and presentations that explain the workload, deployment decisions, and measurable results.
    • Develop customer advisory and structured beta programs with product and customer-facing teams.
    • Bring customer feedback into product planning, messaging, and launch decisions.

Develop partnerships across the AI ecosystem.

    • Build relationships with model providers, developer platforms, integration partners, and complementary infrastructure companies.
    • Identify opportunities for joint content, events, launches, and technical education.
    • Work with product and sales to evaluate integration and channel opportunities based on customer demand and commercial potential.
    • Turn promising relationships into concrete programs with clear owners and outcomes.

Build the product marketing foundation for growth.

    • Refine our ideal customer profiles and priority use cases through customer interviews, sales feedback, and market research.
    • Develop positioning and messaging that explain who Parasail serves, the problems we solve, and why customers choose us.
    • Create technical content and sales materials, including presentations, solution briefs, competitive comparisons, and demo narratives.
    • Lead go-to-market planning for new products and capabilities, coordinating the audience, story, enablement, and launch content.
    • Measure what works through qualified engagement, pipeline contribution, customer participation, and adoption, and use those findings to focus our efforts.

    What You Bring

    • Experience in technical product marketing, solutions or sales engineering, developer relations, or a related customer-facing role, with demonstrated ability to turn technical knowledge into effective marketing.
    • Fluency in AI infrastructure and the model lifecycle, from training and fine-tuning through inference and production serving. You can discuss latency, throughput, reliability, and cost with technical buyers.
    • Strong writing and storytelling skills. You can turn a complex architecture or customer deployment into a clear explanation of its value.
    • Experience developing technical events, conference sessions, customer presentations, or community programs, including recruiting and supporting speakers.
    • An ability to earn trust with customers and partners and turn those relationships into useful, sustained collaboration.
    • Comfort moving between strategy and execution: interviewing a customer, drafting a launch narrative, presenting at an event, and following through on the details.
    • Strong judgment about priorities and the ability to build practical, repeatable programs in a small team.
    • Availability to collaborate in person in the Bay Area and travel for selected events and customer engagements.

    Nice to Have

    • Experience combining sales engineering with technical marketing.
    • Familiarity with distributed computing, open-source AI tooling, or model-serving platforms.
    • Experience building customer advisory boards, beta programs, or customer advocacy programs.
    • Experience developing joint marketing programs with technology and integration partners.
    • Hands-on ability to build or adapt technical demos and work with APIs.

    What Success Looks Like

    • Parasail has a consistent technical event presence, with clear audiences, strong content, and dependable sales follow-up.
    • Customers regularly participate in case studies, talks, references, and product feedback programs.
    • Ecosystem partnerships produce joint programs and qualified commercial opportunities.
    • Sales and marketing share a clear view of our priority customers, use cases, and differentiation.
    • Product launches reach the right audiences with credible technical content and a clear reason to adopt.

    Why Join Parasail

You’ll help shape how an AI infrastructure company tells its story, connects with developers, and builds its market. You’ll work directly with customers solving demanding inference problems and with the engineers building the platform behind them.

This is an opportunity to establish programs from the beginning, own visible outcomes, and build a product marketing function alongside a growing company.
