    About the Role

Own the data foundation for an early-stage AI/ML company, including its warehouse, pipelines, BI layer, and conversion tracking. This role sits within an early analytics function and works closely with company leadership to deliver data that informs business decisions.

    What You'll Do

    • Own the ClickHouse warehouse schema, ingestion, backfills, and performance.
    • Build and operate tested, monitored Python pipelines from databases, billing systems, collaboration tools, and advertising platforms, including recovery and data verification.
    • Manage conversion tracking and attribution data, including server-side events and the transfer of lifetime gross profit data to advertising platforms.
    • Build and maintain BI dashboards for growth, finance, support, and product teams.
    • Analyze retention cohorts, unit economics, channel attribution, churn, and pricing impact, and proactively share findings.
    • Set up monitoring and alerts for important data and business metric changes.
    • Work with leadership to scope and prioritize analytics work, and challenge assumptions when needed.

    What We're Looking For

    • Typically 2 to 10+ years of relevant experience, including ownership of production Python data pipelines.
    • Experience with a columnar warehouse such as ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
    • Experience building BI dashboards with Hex, Metabase, or Looker.
    • Strong understanding of business metrics, including retention cohorts and unit economics.
    • Familiarity with Stripe and SaaS metrics such as MRR, ARR, NDR, and LTV; experience supporting financial close is useful.
    • Hands-on experience with conversion tracking and attribution, such as Meta Conversions API, Google Ads conversion imports, or server-side event pipelines.
    • Use coding agents daily while maintaining ownership of code quality and production behavior.
    • A proactive, product-minded approach and experience taking ownership in a small, fast-moving team.
